Questions success for Holyhead School in Birmingham

PUPILS from Birmingham will help film a special edition of a popular BBC One programme after their school was shortlisted in a national TV production competition.

Holyhead School in Milestone Lane, Handsworth, won through to the final four of the Schools Question Time Challenge after impressing judges when the school held its own Question Time last month.

The school was selected for several reasons including production, which was deemed very well organised and publicised, the panel and audience, which was made up of various faiths, and because the topics debated were relevant, provocative and broached matters of national and regional interest.

The show, presented by David Dimbleby, will be aired on July 10.
