Man hurt by power tool in DIY horror
A MAN suffered serious injuries to his leg in DIY accident at his Midland home.
Paramedics were called to Sweetpool Lane in Hagley, near Stourbridge, at around 2.10pm yesterday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “They found a 61-year-old man who had been injured by a power tool.
“It is believed he was carrying out DIY when the tool left him with a severe leg wound.”
The man, who has not been named, was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham for further assessment and treatment.
