Boy seriously hurt in fall from window
A BIRMINGHAM boy is seriously ill in hospital with head injuries after falling from a back bedroom window at his home.
West Midlands Ambulance Service crews were called to Comberton Road, Sheldon, yesterday afternoon following reports that the boy had fallen at the semi-detached house.
An Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene we found a boy with serious multiple injuries to his head. Crews treated the boy at the scene before he was transferred by land ambulance on blue lights to Heartlands Hospital, where medics were on standby awaiting his arrival.”
