Family appeal for missing girl Natalie Putt
THE family of a young mother were today still clinging to the hope she will be found – five years since she disappeared.
Natalie Putt, pictured, aged 17, went missing from her home in Thornleigh, Lower Gornal, Dudley, on September 1, 2003. just 11 weeks after giving birth to a baby boy, Rhys.
She has not been seen since despite a massive police hunt and appeal for information on her whereabouts.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said today that Natalie was still being treated as a missing person and the inquiry into her disappearance remained active.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after Natalie went missing, but was later released without charge.
Natalie’s 51-year-old father David Putt, said that he still hoped Natalie was alive and well somewhere.
“Not a day goes by when I do not think about my daughter. It is something that is always on my mind.”
