Hagley Road closed after car hits tree
PART of the Hagley Road in Birmingham was closed this morning after a collision in the early hours.
One vehicle hit a tree, which was left in a dangerous condition, on the Hagley Road on Wednesday, West Midlands Fire Service said.
An inbound stretch of the Hagley Road was closed up to Five Ways Island and a diversion was in place.
One person went to hospital and crews were working to free another after the crash near the Plough and Harrow pub.
The vehicle was between the tree and a wall, the fire service said.
Firefighters from Ladywood, Highgate, and West Bromwich were called to the incident.
