Appeal after crash in Ward End

POLICE have issued a fresh plea for information about a crash which left a motorcyclist dead.

Nadeen Iqbal is thought to have died when his scooter clipped a car and skidded in to the path of a lorry on Alum Rock Road, Ward End, at 12.45pm on August 28.

The 20-year-old from Hodge Hill died at the scene.

Police are keen to trace the driver of the car believed to be a silver-coloured Vauxhall Astra, Citroen or Vauxhall Vectra.

They say the driver may have vital information about the crash.
