Police plea in Kidderminster street attack

POLICE in Kidderminster are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 60s was attacked and robbed in the street by a gang of youths.

The attack happened behind St John’s Baptist Church, in Marlpool Place, at 11.50pm on Monday, October 6.

The victim was attacked in the street by a number of youths and he had his snooker cue stolen.

The victim had been playing snooker at a local club and had walked past a group of youths at a bus stop and had been sworn at after he said he couldn’t give them a cigarette.

He was knocked over from behind. Anyone with information can contact police on 08457 444 888.
