Redditch Borough Council raises cash for Breast Cancer Campaign

WORKERS at Redditch Borough Council were pretty in pink when they dressed up for charity.

As part of the Breast Cancer Campaign staff raised £200 by wearing pink clothes and eating pink food.

As part of the day, staff also had the chance to learn more about breast health during a visit from the Worcestershire Breast Screening Unit.

Redditch Borough Council’s human resources officer, Catherine Tedstone, who helped to organise the event, said: “The day was a great chance for the council to help create more awareness of breast cancer as well as raising money for such a good cause.”
