Kanye West to perform in Birmingham after arrest

CONTROVERSIAL rap superstar Kanye West was bringing his Glow In The Dark UK tour to the NEC tonight – despite being arrested following a bust-up at a glitzy nightclub.

The 31-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault early yesterday following the incident outside Tup Tup Palace cocktail bar in Newcastle.

Earlier West wowed crowds at the city’s Metro Arena. A police spokesman said a 31-year-old man had been arrested and released without charge.
