Boy, 10, taken to hospital after rugby injury

A TEN-year-old boy was taken to hospital after sustaining a serious injury playing rugby at a Midland club.
The youngster was transferred onto a spinal board and fitted with a neck collar before being taken to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for a neck injury shortly after 12pm yesterday. It happened during a match at Redditch Rugby Club, in Bromsgrove Road.
