Police said the accident involving a Ford Puma and a Proton happened in Bells Lane at 1.35am.

Vikki was driving one vehicle and the sole occupant of the car.

The driver of the second car, a 64-year-old man and another woman passenger, aged 60, received multiple injuries and were taken to Selly Oak Hospital. Another passenger, a 60-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries.

None of the other people involved have yet been named.

Firefighters used cutting gear to free them from wreckage, with paramedics working alongside them giving the casualities emergency first aid.
