West Bromwich charity runner 'Blind Dave' joins Ring and Ride birthday bash

FUNDRAISER “Blind Dave” Heeley was today helping the vital West Midlands Ring and Ride service celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The visually-impaired 50-year-old, from West Bromwich, himself a regular user of the service, who this year ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, was joining senior figures from West Midlands Special Needs Transport and regional transport authority Centro in wishing the service a happy birthday at the Clarendon Suite in Edgbaston.
