Fat cat joins Weight Watchers

IT’S a case of big cat, no fries for this portly pussy.

For Ozzy the cat, named after Ozzy Osbourne, has put on so much weight in the past 12 months that vets have now told his owners he needs professional help – from Weight Watchers.

The one-year-old Blue Persian, who is being heralded as the Midlands’ fattest feline, has eaten so many sweet treats that he has more than trebled in size since his owners bought him.

Now, Ann Price and partner Kenneth Oldham, from Redditch, who look after Ozzy, have come to the end of their tether and drafted in dieting experts at their local Weight Watchers group.
