Fort Dunlop Parkway crash causes tailbacks
HUNDREDS of commuters were today caught up in long tailbacks after two road traffic accidents on the same road.
Workers and Christmas shoppers travelling to the Fort Dunlop Shopping Centre were held up after a car crashed into the central reservation on the Fort Dunlop Parkway at 8am today.
As emergency services sealed off the area three more cars were involved in a crash on the opposite side of the carriageway.
A 25-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment and three others were treated for minor injuries and shock by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
