Mohammed Ali in court for Birmingham flat killings

A TWENTY-EIGHT-year-old Birmingham man is due in court today charged with the murders of two sisters who were found dead at a city centre flat.

Mohammed Ali, of Old Snow Hill, Birmingham, will appear before a judge at the city’s Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing.

The defendant is accused of murdering Yasmine and Sabrina Larbi-Cherif, who were found dead in September at the Jupiter Apartments complex, near Birmingham’s Broad Street entertainment district.

Both Yasmine, 22, and Sabrina, 19, had suffered stab wounds.

The Algerian-born sisters, who had family links with the Wembley area of north London, both lived at the flat where their bodies were found.
