Man charged with attempted murder after Walsall stabbing
A man was charged with attempted murder after a stabbing left a woman fighting for her life in hospital, said police.
The 29-year-old victim remained in a critical but stable condition in hospital today after suffering stab injuries in Walsall on December 23, West Midlands Police said.
Today, the force said a 30-year-old man arrested after the attack in Barry Road is now accused of trying to kill her.
He was remanded in custody until January 2, when he will appear at Walsall Magistrates Court.
