Urinating binman is suspended

A binman, who asked not to be named, said: “A few of the lads from the depot went to a pub in Kingstanding after work and he thinks his drink was spiked while he was there.

“We finished work at about noon and some people went home and others went for a drink.

“I understand he was put in a taxi but didn’t make it home. He’s worked here for about five years and there’s never been a problem.

“It’s a bit sad really because he’s a decent bloke and nobody wants to see him lose his job.”

In video footage the drunk is seen being woken by Mr Timmons after he urinated against his fence at the house in Perry Common Road and fell to the ground. The binman is then seen banging on the door, forcing 49-year-old Mr Timmons, who himself works as a street cleansing supervisor for neighbouring Walsall Council, to take refuge in his own home.
