Post office shooting: £50,000 reward to catch killers

They fled from the scene in the car, which was later found abandoned nearby.

West Mercia Police have issued a photograph of the car, which was stolen on New Year’s Eve in Solihull, and are urging anyone who may have seen it before, or after, the raid to contact them.

The three men who went into the store wearing Balaclavas are believed to be in their 20s or 30s.

The fourth man is described as white. He was wearing a hooded top and a scarf pulled up over his face.

A police believe the car may have been seen parked and unoccupied in Bournheath Road before the robbery.

Detective Superintendent Jon Groves said the police investigation would “leave no stone unturned”.

He said: “We are doing absolutely everything than can be done to ensure that the men responsible are arrested and brought to justice. We have a dedicated team of around 100 detectives and other staff working on this case and our inquiry will include the examination of CCTV footage.”
