Halesowen father assaulted flats resident after objects were thrown from balcony

A HALESOWEN father broke the jaw of a man he believed was throwing objects from a Black Country tower block.

Anthony Marsh, 28, was angry after a jar smashed the sunroof of his parked car, showering his wife and baby with shards of glass.

Marsh, of Ankerdine Court, admitted assaulting Stephen Wheeler, causing actual bodily harm. He was given an 18-month community order and 200 hours’ community punishment. He was ordered to pay £400 compensation and £369 court costs.
