Elderly man led to safety from Sparkbrook care home fire

AN ELDERLY man had to be led to safety after a fire in a care home in Sparkbrook.

It happened in Arden Court, part of the Hillcrest Residential Home, in Warwick Road when three fire crews were called to reports of a mattress on fire just after 10.30am yesterday.
