Boy, 6, hurt in accident in Nechells
A YOUNG boy was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Nechells. The six-year-old was found with head injuries on Vauxhall Road at 3.35pm yesterday.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “The boy had suffered a nasty injury to his head but was conscious on examination.
He was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further assessment and treatment. His injuries are not believed life threatening.”
