Midland coroners failings lead to funeral delays

FAMILIES are being forced to wait to bury their loved ones as coroners do not have enough resources, MP Bruce George (Lab, Walsall South) has warned.

He said coroners took too long to deal with paperwork while some Midland councils failed to offer burial services throughout the year.
