Flooding shuts Costa Coffee shop in Birmingham city centre

A CITY centre coffee house is expected to remain closed today after it suffered a flood.

A West Midlands fire crew spent yesterday evening pumping out about seven feet of water from the basement of Costa Coffee in Brindley Place.

The flood affected the store room of the coffee shop and a room which is used to maintain the main water feature in Brindley Place.

The water is believed to have affected the electrics and drying out will take place today.
