POLICE today released this CCTV image of a man they want to trace in connection with an alleged assault at a Birmingham train station.

The 46-year-old victim suffered a broken ankle when he was allegedly attacked as he crossed the bridge between platforms at Moor Street railway station, Birmingham city centre.

Now detectives at British Transport Police are calling for help to identify a man in connection with the incident at about 7.15pm on January 10.

Anyone with information can call British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident number 396 of 10/01/09, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Two men, aged 39 and 42, have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
