A DAD-of-two died today after being engulfed in flames following a “suspicious” incident at a family home in Birmingham.
Police discovered the seriously injured man at a terraced house in Church Hill Road, Handsworth, on Friday night.
The man, aged 36, has not yet been named, but was believed to have lived there with his partner and two children. He was taken to the burns unit at Selly Oak Hospital where he lost his fight for life early today.
Detectives are investigating his death which they are treating as “suspicious”.
Today, a police officer was outside the property which was sealed off with tape, together with a BMW parked outside the address.
Neighbours said they believed a couple lived at the address with two children.
It is thought they moved in about a year ago.
