Pedestrian breaks leg in accident
A PEDESTRIAN is today recovering in hospital today following emergency surgery after being in collision with a car. The 42-year-old from Yardley received serious fractures to his leg following the collision on Bordesley Green East, near the Poolway Shopping Centre, shortly after 10pm yesterday. He was given pain relief and had his leg splinted before being taken to Heartlands Hospital.
