POLICE want to trace two men in connection with two break-ins at a Midland school in which thousands of pounds worth of electrical equipment was stolen.

The burglaries happened at Lyndon School, in Daylesford Road, Solihull, in just under two weeks of each other.

On January 16, at around 6.45pm, two men broke in through the front door, causing £500 worth of damage, before stealing a plasma television.

Ten days later, two men believed to be the same offenders broke in to the school again and stole three laptops.

They fled over the school roof after being disturbed.

PC Tim Evans, from Lyndon and Elmdon neighbourhood team, said: “We are working hard to identify the offenders who we believe are local.

“I believe someone living in Solihull or south Birmingham will recognise them.”
