Detectives puzzled by dad’s death in Bromsgrove

David Currier named as body found in Bromsgrove

POLICE investigating the unexplained death of a Midland dad today made a further appeal for witnesses.

David Currier, pictured, 35, from Birmingham Road, Lickey End, near Bromsgrove, was found dead at his home on Saturday morning.

A postmortem examination failed to establish how he died.

Det Supt, Steve Cullen, of West Mercia Constabulary, said: “We are focusing on the period between midnight and 1am. The house is a prominent four-bedroom detached property, close to the junction of School Lane and Mount School.

“This section of the A38, close to the junction of the M42 motorway, would have been busy with traffic, even at that time of night and we are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity or any vehicles, or indeed saw or heard anything unusual, to come forward.”

He said police were keeping an open mind on how the married father of one came by his death.
