Birmingham lecture by journalist and dancing star John Sergeant

POLITICAL journalist turned dancing star John Sergeant will be put through his speaking paces when he delivers a lecture in Birmingham.
The former BBC and ITN correspondent, now equally well known for his famous exit from Strictly Come Dancing, is to deliver the Institute of Directors’ annual lecture at the city’s Botanical Gardens on May 13.
The institute’s regional director John Phillips said: “The evening looks sure to provide expert insight into the current political scene as well as a welcome opportunity to network, entertain clients and put some much needed fun back into business life.”
Sergeant was the BBC’s chief political correspondent and covered conflicts worldwide as a war reporter.
“John is one of the UK’s leading after dinner and conference speakers,” added Mr Philips.
