A MAN had to be cut free from his car after injuring his neck in a road accident in Birmingham city centre today.
The driver of the Proton car collided with the central reservation in Old Snow Hill, near St Chad’s Cathedral, at about 7am.
Paramedics called out fire crews from Ladywood and Highgate who cut away the roof of the car so the man could be safely removed. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
