Family pay tribute to 18-year-old Bewdley crash victim
THE family of a teenage girl who was killed in a Midland road crash today paid tribute to her as a “lovely, ambitious girl”.
Ellie Teeling, aged 18, suffered multiple injuries when her Vauxhall Corsa crashed near Ramada Hotel in Habberley Road, near Bewdley, Worcestershire.
Her car careered off the road and into a wall at about 5.40am on Saturday at an area that has since been labelled an ‘accident blackspot’.
In a statement released by West Mercia Police today, her family said: “We cannot find the words to describe the tragedy that has struck our family with the loss of our beloved Ellie.
“She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend. An out-going, independent young woman, Ellie was a ‘doer’; if she said she was going to do something, it was done.
“She was ambitious and had big ideas for her future, ideas that she was more than capable of fulfilling.
“Quite simply she was a lovely, lovely girl.
