Family pay tribute to 18-year-old Bewdley crash victim

“We will miss her more than we can say but we will never, ever forget her and she will remain a central part of all our lives.”

Touching tributes accompanied the roadside flowers laid for the teenager, who lived in Woodthorpe Drive, Bewdley, and was a former pupil at Bewdley High School.

One said: “Going to miss your smiling face, won’t be the same without you.”

Another said: “Taken tragically too soon. Miss you heaps, love you always. God bless”.

West Mercia Police appealed for more information in a bid to build up a clear picture of events prior to the smash.

Pc Andy Saunders from the North Worcestershire Road Policing Unit said: “We are trying to establish exactly what happened and as part of the investigation we are appealing to anyone who travelled along Habberley Road at the time of the collision to get in touch, particularly if they recall seeing a blue Vauxhall Corsa on this stretch of road.

Anyone with information can contact the North Worcestershire Road Policing Unit on 0300 333 3000 ext 3136
