Hospital for Weston crash man
A MAN was taken to hospital after the car he was driving left a road and crossed a railway line in Staffordshire.
It happened at Weston, near Stafford last night.
Police said the car left the A51/A518 at 9.30pm.
Ambulance crews arrived to see the vehicle had crossed a railway line and a stream before coming to rest in a field about 180 yards from the road.
The driver, who is in his 50s, suffered a head injury, back and abdominal pain and was taken to University Hospital, north Staffordshire.
