Two men shot in Edgbaston
TWO men were shot when a drive-by gunman opened fire on them in Birmingham.
The pair were sitting in a car parked in Southfield Road, Edgbaston, last night when the gunman struck.
He opened fire from a vehicle which pulled up alongside the car they were in at about 7.10pm.
The victims were wounded but managed to drive themselves to hospital where they were undergoing treatment today.
Their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police have cordoned off the immediate area around the incident and were carrying out further inquiries and forensic examinations today.
Detectives at Rose Road police station, in Harborne, have launched an investigation and have appealed for witnesses.
