Car-crash duo arrested in Sutton Coldfield

TWO men have been arrested in Sutton Coldfield after a car lost control and crashed into the wall of a house.

The driver and passenger of the car fled from the scene at 2.45pm before being arrested near to where the crash happened in Little Sutton Road. Four Oaks.

The road remained closed for most of yesterday afternoon and one witness, who asked not to be named, said a member of the public chased the two men.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Keasey, of Sutton Coldfield CID, said: “There was a serious incident involving one vehicle that collided with the wall of a property at 2.45pm.

“Two people ran from the scene, but were arrested nearby a short time later. A member of the public saw the incident and tried to give chase.”
