More pupils in Birmingham get places at first choice secondary school

MORE pupils in Birmingham are being offered their first choice secondary schools.

Of 13,952 who applied to transfer from primary school to secondary for September 2009, 9,471, or 67.9 per cent, were offered their first preferred school.
