Family of murdered Birmingham soldier Mark Quinsey want answers
“Out of respect to his family we do not wish to say anything more at this time.
“Mark will be in the thoughts and prayers of many people associated with Baverstock.”
Robert Munday, whose 21-year-old son Trooper James Munday was killed in Afghanistan in October, today also paid his condolences to the family of the murdered soldiers.
Mr Munday said: “The soldier’s parents will be absolutely devastated at the moment.
“They will be utterly shocked and be asking why has this happened and why there son.
“What makes it even worse is that this soldier wasn’t even in a war zone. It was meant to be a safe place.
“But all soldiers and those connected to them know that as long as they are in the army, they will be the target of terrorists.”
