More than 100 Walsall College supported learning students and staff stepped out for a Monty Python-inspired funny walk around the arboretum.
Fancy dress at Sundridge Primary School, Kingstanding, raised £170 for Comic Relief.
Jack Burgwin, 11, a pupil at Four Dwellings Primary School in Quinton, baked 120 fairy cakes and then sold them to residents at McKenzie Court sheltered housing complex in Shenley.
At City Technology College, Kingshurt, pupils claimed a world record for the most people to yo-yo at the same time.
Their bid is yet to be officially verified by Guinness, but they believe they have beaten the previous best of 435 by getting 613 teachers and students to use the toys at the same time.
Pupils were asked to buy special yo-yos for the event and have raised more than £3,000.
