Police make appeal after Small Heath father is gunned down in street

“We haven’t been able to speak with him yet.”

Detectives are now looking at the theory that the gunman may have followed Mr Hussain’s distinctive BMW X5 jeep as he drove from Water Orton via Kitts Green and then to his home in Kenelm Road.

The small dark-coloured saloon getaway car, possibly a VW Golf, sped from the scene along Kenelm Road towards Charles Road.
