Man charged with murder of a Dean Elewell

A 45-YEAR-OLD man was appearing before Birmingham Magistrates today charged with the murder of family man Dean Elwell.

Mr Elwell, who had a number of children and was from Alum Rock, died of a single stab wound to the chest.

He was found dead at a flat in Ellesmere Road, Alum Rock, on Sunday.
