Man critically injured after being hit by object through windscreen
A man was airlifted to a specialist trauma unit with severe head injuries after an object smashed through the windscreen of his car in Wolverhampton.
Police said initial investigations suggested that a piece of metal shattered the windscreen of the vehicle on the A41 Wergs Road.
The man was flown to Birmingham's Selly Oak Hospital and is critically hurt.
