A police source said intelligence gleaned during the operation linked them to the Johnson Crew.
Bell, of Crompton Road, Nechells, who had previous convictions for drugs offences, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to possessing heroin and being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack.
Sentencing him to five years, Judge Salmonsen, added: “It would be naive to suggest this was the sum total of your dealing for this period.”
Hewitt, of Cayton Grove, Erdington, claimed he was dealing to help pay off a debt. He also had previous convictions for drugs offences was jailed for four years after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Henry, of Havelock Road, Handsworth, pleaded guilty to ten counts of supplying drugs and was jailed for three years and nine months.
Collman, of Brooklyn Avenue, Aston, claimed he was dealing to raise cash for electrical tools for a college course and was jailed for two years and six months for drug supply offences.
Reid’s 12 month sentence was suspended for two years and he was ordered to do 180 hours unpaid work after pleading guilty to three offences of supplying heroin.
A sixth man, drug addict and “go-between” Andrew Campbell, 24, from Mona Road, Erdington, pleaded guilty to seven counts of being involved in the supply of heroin and crack and two of supplying heroin. He was jailed for two years and six months.
A further five men will be sentenced at a later date.
