Yardley Wood love rival murder trial: Neighbours tell of fight in street
The woman managed to get to her feet before falling in to the road.
Business graduate Biddle sobbed in the dock of the court as Mrs Adams described how the woman she had seen collapse tried to get to her feet before other neighbours rushed to her help.
Rob Whitton said he ran to the house where he found the woman collapsed.
“I wasn’t really aware of what had happened at first but I saw some blood on her face,” he said. “She said ‘help me, please help me’, her voice was very faint and she was pale.”
Miss Bradshaw was taken to Heartlands Hospital but died later that morning.
The court was told that Biddle and Mr Watson had met at school and bought a house together in 2002.
They were engaged in 2003 but the wedding was later called off as Mr Watson had started a relationship with Miss Bradshaw. He continued to have a relationship with Biddle.
The case continues.
