Man held after drugs police swoop on city centre apartment

POLICE were today continuing to question a man who was arrested in a drugs swoop at an upmarket Birmingham city centre apartment.

Police from the city centre neighbourhood team swooped on the apartment complex in Corporation Street early yesterday.

They found a quantity of what was believed to be Class A drugs and cannabis.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
