Woman trapped in M6 crash
A WOMAN escaped unhurt from her overturned car after it ploughed into a central reservation on the M6 yesterday evening.
Despite being trapped upside down by her seat belt when emergency services arrived to the southbound carriageway between Junctions 7 and 6 near Great Barr, the 36-year-old from Lichfield sustained no serious injuries.
She was freed by firefighters and paramedics and taken to hospital for further assessment at about 9pm.
