Castle Vale supermarket raises £2,000 for Comic Relief

STAFF at Sainsbury’s in Castle Vale raised a total of £2,000 for Comic Relief after completing a 34-mile charity bike ride.

HR manager Lorraine Hillsdon, department colleague Derek Allen and bakery manager Steve Harris cycled from Castle Vale to several other stores in the region before returning back to base after six and a half hours.
