Four hurt in Hall Green car smash

FOUR people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Birmingham.

All four people, who were travelling in the same car, were injured when they collided with another vehicle on Stratford Road, Hall Green, shortly after 10.30pm on Friday night.

The male driver and female front seat passenger, both believed to be in their 60s, were taken to Selly Oak Hospital after sustaining head injuries.

Two other female passengers, believed to be in their 20s, were to taken to Heartlands Hospital for treatment. They were complaining of neck and back pain.

The driver of the second car was unhurt in the crash.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the cars had sustained “significant” damage as a result of the crash.
