Sheldon junior footballers go training with Blues manager Alex McLeish

FOOTBALL stars of the future enjoyed a special training session with Blues manager Alex McLeish in a prize they won in the Birmingham Mail.

Lyndon Colts under-12s junior football team went to Birmingham city’s training ground at Wast Hills.

The youngsters were taken on a tour of the ground and had a question-and-answer session with McLeish, who took time out from a busy schedule to sign autographs for the Sheldon side.

They had a training session with two academy coaches and McLeish offered tips on the youngsters’ game.
