Plea over double fatal death on M6 Toll motorway

POLICE today appealed for witnesses following a double fatal crash on the M6 Toll in the Midlands.
A husband and wife were in a VW Passat which left the northbound carriageway, near Wishaw, in north Warwickshire, and into a water-filled ditch.
The bodies of the couple, in their 50s from Cheshire, were recovered by the fire service.
