Empty Sparkbrook building to be turned into gym and kickboxing centre

A DERELICT building in Sparkbrook is to be turned into a gym and kickboxing training centre for local youngsters.

Ultimate Sports Kickboxing Association has been granted planning permission to move into an empty industrial unit in Montgomery Street which was previously occupied by British Metal Treatments.

The ground floor will be a studio and gym, a meeting room and admin offices will be on the first floor, while the second floor will become a kickboxing training room, male and female gyms, a lounge and other facilities.
